Mrs Webb is our Hometown Hero
For all of us that graduated from Savannah Christian, there were a few things we could count on every single day. Coach Carter was going to make us run suicides in the gym before getting some “mop juice” to clean the floor, Coach Kelley was going to walk behind us to check our hair lengths, and Mrs Webb was going to be in the front office to welcome us to school, call our moms when we were sick, or ease our nerves before going in to talk to Coach Kelley about our hair being to long.
This week Mrs Webb was chosen by WTOC as our Hometown Hero, something all of us have known for quite a few years.

Savannah, GA – A friendly face in the morning help can get your day off to a great start and this WTOC Hometown Hero is doing just that at Savannah Christian.
Pat Webb is often the first face students see sitting at the front desk of Savannah Christians Upper School. She has worked at the school for 40 years brightening mornings and helping keep students on track.
“Every morning when I walk in she is really excited sometimes screaming at me for being late for bringing the attendance but she is always there to brighten everyone’s day,” said student AnnMarie Wakely.
Other than keeping track of student Mrs. Webb also does fundraising for Relay for Life. Every night she bakes cookies to be sold at the school. Students can get 4 for a dollar and that adds up to a huge donation.
“I could not raise the money, I get a lot of donations from my former students, but I could not raise that much money without the cookies,” said Webb.
For keeping our young minds focused and supporting Relay for Life Mrs. Pat Webb is a WTOC Hometown Hero.
Congratulations Mrs Webb!!
